Exodus 29-40 along with a little Numbers and a little Leviticus. (Feb 10th-16th of the reading plan)

Reading plan for February 10th-16th

This week will be a tough one for me to get through all the reading. There is not much story line and a lot of details.

Details on how to build the tabernacle.

Details on how to sacrifice.

Details on what the priest should wear.

Details on the placement of basins.

Details on who should be in charge of what.

Details on where the blood goes when.

Details on washing.

Details on how the tabernacle should be build.

Details on how the tabernacle was build.

My brain does not love details. However all of this stuff made it into this book about Jesus for us so it must be there for a reason.

My brain may not like all the details of this whole deal. But it is still important because God told his people.

“The place of atonement-that covers the tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant. I will meet you there”. Exodus 30:6

All of that detail is important because this place of atonement was where God met them.

Where is that place for us today?

Where ever our feet take us!

Where are your feet taking you today?

Jesus is meeting you there!

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

13 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:12-16
